Primetimer Trip - "Oh Shenandoah"
June 14-16, 2007
Our Primetimers enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We began with a pleasant drive to Charlottesville, VA, where we visited Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. We then travelled across the mountains to Luray Caverns. We spent the night in a little town called Raphine. On Friday, we had a guide who showed us around Lexington. We visited the Stonewall Jackson House, Virginia Military Institute, Washington and Lee, and the Lee Chapel. We had lunch at the Sheraton Livery. We then drove to the Natural Bridge. On Saturday, we visited Appomattox Court House before retuning to Wilson. The Lord gave us a wonderful time of fellowship together.
